Katherine Lee McKay
Katherine Lee McKay is a Chicago-based contralto originally from Midland, MI. She has been cultivating her musical abilities since childhood, but discovered her love for opera during her undergraduate studies. She received a Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance from Biola University and a Master’s in Music from Roosevelt University, Chicago College of Performing Arts. She currently studies with Mark Crayton and plans to continue pursuing classical performance in a variety of ways, with an intentional focus on opera.
